Sprint’s Sanyo Taho E4100 Phone by Kyocera

A new rugged handset has just appeared on Sprint’s fact sheet page, Sanyo Taho E4100 Phone by Kyocera. Means, it will be rolled out soon to their subscribers :)

Sanyo Taho is a clamshell handset which runs on CDMA networks (800,1900 Mhz), with support for Sprint’s 1xEV-DO rev.0 hi-speed 3G data bearer. Built based on military standard 810G, this phone withstands dust, shock, vibration, extreme temperatures as well as blowing rain and and water immersion.

LG VL600 isn't the only Verizon's 4G USB modem as today they announced the addition of the Pantech UML290 4G Wireless Modem into this products line.

Offering the ability to connect with the soon to be launched Verizon Wireless’ 4G LTE network, Pantech UML290 4G Wireless Modem enabling users to get a high speed connectivity for download between 5Mbps and 12Mbps as well as upload between 2Mbps and 5Mbps in Verizon's 4G Mobile Broadband coverage area. LG's first LTE (Long Term Evolution) USB modem for Verizon Wireless has officially announced today; namely, LG VL600™.

The LG VL600 is a compact USB modem. It features a lightweight design with a flip USB cover and sleek outer finish; measures at 98.5 x 37.6 x 14.7 mm and weighs only 50 g. This LTE modem also offers 4-color LED Service Status Indicator and supports major operating systems including Windows XP, Vista and Windows 7.

Fly Launches Fly E171 Wi-Fi in Russia

Fly's latest multimedia phone has been launched in Russia, Fly E171 Wi-Fi. Comes in candybar design, this phone encased in a compact 111×54×12.8 mm black body with metallic mount lines.

Fly E171 Wi-Fi sports 3.2" inches TFT touchscreen display with WQVGA (240×400 pixels) resolution and a 3.2MPx main camera with video capture capability. It runs on tri-band GSM 900/1800/1900Mhz with support for GRPS and EDGE. And as usual, it comes with support for dual SIM mode.

Software Update for Sprint’s Overdrive 3G/4G Mobile Hotspot is Available

Sprint has just announced that a new software update for Overdrive 3G/4G Mobile Hotspot by Sierra Wireless, firmware version 2.23 is available beginning today, November 10, 2010.

By installing this latest firmware, users will get an improvement on Wi-Fi, connection and device stability; an improved 4G Rescan timer, new over temp UI indications, enhannced start time and 4G automatic update feature.

Sprint has just officially announced the upcoming availability of ZTE PEEL™, a unique device that cradles 2nd and 3rd generation iPod touch with a case-like form factor, enabling them to get the advantage of Sprint’s 3G network.

Using it is quite easy; There is no software installation required. Simply slide any compatible iPod touch (screen face out) into ZTE PEEL, press down on both sides until it clicks into place, then turn it on by pressing PEEL's power button which located on its back to connect to Sprint’s 3G network.

One more dual sim handset has been added into Fly's DS product line, the affordable Fly DS156.

Comes in simple design, Fly DS156 comes in black colored body with red line stripping, measures 105.1×44×13.9 mm and weighs 72g. This candybar sports a 1.8” TFT color display with 128×160 pixels resolution and 65K colors supports; and an integrated camera at back.

This candybar phone is equipped with an audio player with support for MP3, AMR, WAV, MID; in which, these audio files can also be used as a ringtone.

Expanding the Bold series portfolio, RIM introduced their latest smartphone today; the BlackBerry Bold 9780 which comes in BlackBerry's iconic design.

On the first impression, the new BlackBerry Bold 9780 is pretty much the same as Onyx (BlackBerry Bold 9780). This smartphone sports a 2.44" TFT display with 480 x 360 pixels resolution and 65K colors, an optical trackpad and a full QWERTY keypad. Same size at 109 x 60 x 14 mm and same weight as well at 122 g. Yet, don't let this facts disappoint you, it's only a quickie look.

LG Launches Windows 7 Smartphones: LG Optimus 7 and LG Optimus 7Q

LG has announced the global launch of their two new smartphones built based on Microsoft’s new operating system today; LG Optimus 7 and LG Optimus 7Q. Both of them are a Windows Phone 7 devices.

These Optimus 7 series handsets comes with WVGA display at 800x480 pixels resolution which large enough for convenient web surfing. The LG Optimus 7 has a 3.8 inches display; while the Optimus 7Q has a smaller display, 3.5 inches, but offer a side slide ergonomic QWERTY keypad which just perfect for the built in Windows Phone 7 Office.

Fly Q400 Launched in Russia

Russian mobile phone manufacturer, Fly, has just launched their latest handset in for domestic Russian market, Fly Q400. Juts like most of Fly's latest handsets, the Fly Q400 is a dual sim capable phone. This phone is a candybar, it comes in black colored body measures 114×60×12,6 mm and weighs 90 grams.

Fly Q400 sports a QWERTY keypad, 2.4" TFT display (320×240 pixels, 262K colors) and an integrated 3.2MPx camera with digital zoom and video capture capability.

Fly Launches Fly Q110TV Phone

Fly has just presented another handset to the Russian market, the Fly Q110TV.

This Fly's new handset is a candybar phone, comes in a single color option; classical black. Fly Q110TV is a dual band GSM phone, and as you may already guess it, it supports dual sim mode. The phone itself measures 110.5×59×13.9 mm and weighs 115 g.

As its name has already said it, Fly Q110TV, this handset equipped with an analogue TV unit and telescopic antenna, enabling it to delivers any TV channels right through its 2" TFT display (176×220 pixels, 262K colors).

Nokia N8 Smartphone is Shipped

Nokia has just announced a good news for their customers which already placed a pre-order for Nokia N8; Its shipments have been started and they will be the first to receive their Nokia N8.

Just a remider :) Nokia N8 sports a large 3.5 inches AMOLED capacitive touchscreen displayas well as 12MP autofocus camera with Carl Zeiss optics and Xenon flash. This smartphone, which powered by 680 MHz ARM 11 processor, comes with the refreshed Symbian^3 OS and supports for 10.2 Mbps HSDPA.

Shortly after introducing the DS105, Fly launched launched one more handset just recent, the Fly MC220.

Fly MC220 is a slider phone which built for youth by offering wide range of multimedia functions as well as opportunities for web surfing. This handset is presented in dark grey colored body with red mount lines and keyboard lightning, it measures 98×48×14.3 mm and weighs 94 g.

Fly MC220 runs on tri-band GSM (900/1800/1900 Mhz) and support GPRS, EDGE and WAP 2.0. This dual-sim capable phone comes with a 2.4 inches TFT display (240×320 pixels, 65 000 colors) and 3.2MP camera with video capture capability --no flash unfortunately.

Just few months after launched Ezzy, Fly added one more handset into their entry level mobile phones line-up; Fly DS105 which is highlighted by its simple design and of course, affordable price at just 990 Rubles (approx. $32).

Fly DS105 is a dual band GSM phone (900/1800 MHz) with dual sim capability and it sports a 1.43 inches TFT 65K colors display. This candybar comes in classical black colored body with red mount lines, it measures 103.1×43×12.95 mm and weighs 58g.

BlackBerry Curve 3G and Pearl 3G Smartphones Via AT&T

In addition to exclusively offering the BlackBerry Torch, AT&T will also offering two more new BlackBerry handsets in their smartphone line-up; BlackBerry Curve 9300 3G which will be available in time for the holidays, followed by BlackBerry Pearl 9100 3G as soon as October 17.

Both of these new 3G capable BlackBerry handset comes preloaded with social networking apps such as Facebook and BBM; and BlackBerry App World which connected to AT&T customers’ bill to simplify its payment options.

Fly has just launched another youth targeted handset, the unique Fly G1 gaming phone. Right out the box, Fly G1 comes with several preloaded games, however, these games aren't the reason we called it as a unique gaming phone.

Basically, Fly G1 is a mobile phone. Users can use it or making or receiving a calls and messages such as SMS, EMS and MMS. It runs on dual band GSM 900/1800 Mhz networks and support GPRS as well as WAP access. And just like most of Fly's latest handsets, it comes with dual-sim capability.

The third device exclusively launched in China today is Motorola Ming A1680. Pet named as Lucky, this smartphone will be offered by China Unicom.

Motorola A1680 is a classic clamshell device featuring touch capabilities. It sports 3.1-inch AMOLED display with 800×480 pixels resolution, enhanced with an intelligent handwriting recognition software and sixth-generation SoftStylus™ handwriting for a better navigation and input.

The Motorola A1680, which designed to supports China Unicom’s WCDMA network, runs on quad-band GSM 850/900/1800/1900 MHz and compatible with WCDMA 2100MHz. This smartphone offers GPRS Class 12, EDGE Class 10 and 3.6 HSDPA for data bearer.

Motorola Ming XT806 Smartphone

The second new Ming's handset introduced today by Motorola, XT806, is an Internet-connected powerhouse built on Android 2.1. This smartphone will be offered through China Telecom.

Motorola XT806 is a dual band compatible, works on both GSM and CDMA networks. This mobile phone runs on tri-band GSM 900/1800/1900 and dual band CDMA 800/1900 MHz, and at the 3G's it runs on CDMA2000 1xEV-DO.

Physically, this smartphone measures 109,9×57×18,6 mm and weighs 161 grams. X806 is built with the same core as Motorola MT810; 600 MHz TI OMAP3430 processor, same ROM at 512MB, yet, twice of RAM at 512MB to ensure that its Eclair OS will run smoothly. It also comes with a micro-SD slot that can be maxed using 32GB card.
