LG VL600 LTE USB Modem for Verizon Wireless

LG's first LTE (Long Term Evolution) USB modem for Verizon Wireless has officially announced today; namely, LG VL600™.

The LG VL600 is a compact USB modem. It features a lightweight design with a flip USB cover and sleek outer finish; measures at 98.5 x 37.6 x 14.7 mm and weighs only 50 g. This LTE modem also offers 4-color LED Service Status Indicator and supports major operating systems including Windows XP, Vista and Windows 7.

LG VL600 USB modem has a built-in antenna for the high-speed 4G internet connectivity which offer up to 10 times faster speed than 3G so that users can expect high speeds of 5-12 Mbps on download and 2-5 Mbps on upload when they are on Verizon's 4G LTE service area with it.

Unfortunately, there is no further information regarding its pricing nor exact availability at this moment. We'll post the update ASAP, hopefully it's not too long nor too pricey :) stay with us.

The LG VL600 will be $99.99 after a $50 mail-in rebate with a 2-years contract on Verizon's 4G Mobile Broadband Plan. This modem will also retailed off contract, at a price of $249.99.

Verizon has two plans available for its 4G LTE data network: a 5GB plan that costs $50 per month, and a 10GB plan that costs $80 per month.
