LG VL600 isn't the only Verizon's 4G USB modem as today they announced the addition of the Pantech UML290 4G Wireless Modem into this products line.
Offering the ability to connect with the soon to be launched Verizon Wireless’ 4G LTE network, Pantech UML290 4G Wireless Modem enabling users to get a high speed connectivity for download between 5Mbps and 12Mbps as well as upload between 2Mbps and 5Mbps in Verizon's 4G Mobile Broadband coverage area. And of course, this modem also supports Verizon’s 3G network.
Pantech UML290 is a compact USB modem, measures 3.5×1.4×0.6 inches. The UML290 comes equipped with a fold–away, 180 degree rotating USB connector, an LED Service Status Indicator and a internal antenna; while PC's OS supported are Windows (XP, Vista and 7).
According to Verizon, Pantech UML290 4G Wireless Modem will be available on Sunday, Dec. 5 in Verizon Wireless Communications Stores and online; priced at $99.99 after a $50 mail-in rebate with a 2-years contract on a 4G Mobile Broadband Plan. Off contract, it will cost you $249.99.
