The Huawei E398 LTE modem which dubbed as the world's first triple-mode LTE modem, has starting shipped now.

Huawei E398, which was first revealed back in February at the Mobile World Congress, features support for LTE, 3G and 2G network access. Back then, during the test at the mentioned event, this modem reached download speeds of 100 Mb/s, roughly up to 20 times faster than that of existing 3G networks.

Recently, LG Electronics has just announced the availability of their Long-Term Evolution (LTE) modem model L-02C, made for Japanese LTE networks which will be shipped via NTT DoCoMo.

Similar to the one unveiled for Verizon Wireless earlier this month, LG L-02C LTE Modem is a user friendly accessories which can be used, simply by connecting it to the USB port on PC or Notebook PC. It supports diverse operating systems including Windows7, Vista, XP, and Mac OS. The device is also quite compact at its 35mm width and 12.9 mm thickness.

Verizon Introduces Mobile Email 4.0

Verizon Wireless has just announced the improved version of their current Mobile Email solution, the new Mobile Email 4.0.

This new email solution, which available on a wide array of Verizon's devices including the LG Octane, LG Cosmos Touch and Samsung Zeal, provides customers with a better user experience and more value for their money on their data plans.

Pantech UML290 4G Wireless Modem for Verizon Wireless

LG VL600 isn't the only Verizon's 4G USB modem as today they announced the addition of the Pantech UML290 4G Wireless Modem into this products line.

Offering the ability to connect with the soon to be launched Verizon Wireless’ 4G LTE network, Pantech UML290 4G Wireless Modem enabling users to get a high speed connectivity for download between 5Mbps and 12Mbps as well as upload between 2Mbps and 5Mbps in Verizon's 4G Mobile Broadband coverage area. And of course, this modem also supports Verizon’s 3G network.

BlackBerry Torch 9800 Smartphone Via AT&T

RIM’s first BlackBerry smartphone to launch with BlackBerry 6 OS, the BlackBerry 9800 Torch is already on the way to AT&T’s warehouse.

Today, AT&T has just made it official through their official PR that the BlackBerry Torch 9800 smartphone will be available exclusively for their customers on August 12 in their retail stores, including AT&T online store, as well as Best Buy, Wal-Mart and RadioShack stores.
