On the Notion Ink's official blog, Rohan Shravan posted that their long awaited Adam tablet has got FCC's clearance just recent.

The Notion Ink Adam, which was earned a Best of CES 2011 honorable, can be located at the FCC's website under keywords: NI3421A01 as the Product Code, Y2G as the Guarantee Code or 0020356499 as FNR as soon as the database has been updated either today or on Monday.

It's been a while since Sharp announced their plans to bring its Galapagos line of tablets to the market, and just recent, two of them passed through the FCC, the 10.8-inch EB-WX1GJ "media tablet" and the 5.5-inch EB-W51GJ model.

Not much revealed yet other than pictures and speculative details based on them. However, at least this is a good sign, that they are already near :)

A new year gift from Verizon Wireless, maybe :) As reported by DroidLife, Verizon's pricing on the sleek android-running Samsung Galaxy Tab has just got dropped to $499. And even better, they also adding $60 worth bonus of free movie rentals through either the Blockbuster app or Media Hub.

Another "made in Korea" android-running tablet has just spotted recently, dubbed as Woori Pad (우리 패드) --literally translated as Our Pad, not "Worry Pad" :)

Woori Pad is manufactured by Appeal System. The tablet comes with an Apple-like 9.7 inch large touchscreen display, delivering 4:3 aspect ratio at 1024×768 pixels resolution; While for the OS, Woori boasts the same OS as Samsung Galaxy Tab, Android OS version 2.2 (Froyo).

Toshiba has finally releasing a firmware upgrade for their "not so successful" Toshiba Folio 100 tablet PC.

Back then, this Froyo running Toshiba Folio 100 was unveiled last September. At its first impression: 10.1-inch multitouch WSVGA display, Nvidia Tegra 2 processor inside, 16 GB internal memory, microSD support, 1.3 megapixel camera, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth, 3G support and so on.. everything was quite alright.

Along this holiday weekend, Notion Ink has started to provide some video demonstrations of their upcoming Android-based Adam tablet PC.

Back then, this Notion Ink's Adam tablet PC was put on pre-order in early December and said to be available next month. In their video demo, you can take a look at this 10.1-inch capacitive touchscreen equipped slate's boot-screen, Eden web browser and some of its hardware components --to be exact, its HDMI port. Japanese manufacturer, Onkyo, has just unveiled the new SlatePad TA117 series tablets in their home market; consisting two models: TA117C1 and TA117C3.

Onkyo SlatePad TA117 tablet is an android based device, built based Google Android 2.2 (Froyo) platform, powered by the advanced 1 Ghz NVIDIA Tegra 2 250 processor, and and graphically enhanced by the NVIDIA GeForce GPU on board. The slate sports a 10.1-inch TFT capacitive touchscreen display with 1024×600 pixels resolution and 16M color supports, a 1.3-megapixels front facing camera and offer support for multi-touch input.

Bell giving a $100 in-store credit on Samsung Galaxy Tab, thanks to Boxing Day. Normally, the tablet cost about $649.95 without contract. It means that now you can get it as low as of $549.95.

Just a little reminder, Samsung Galaxy Tab is an Android running (Froyo, version 2.2) tablet with 7" touchscreen display at 1024×600 pixels resolution. The tablet is equipped with both front-facing camera (1.3 megapixel for video calling) and 3.2 megapixel rear-facing camera; and includes a full HTML browser with zoom capabilities as well as Flash Player 10.1.

Fly has just showcased their yet unannounced tablet to the public in the Ukrainian, namely Fly Pad. Words said that the tablet will be goes on sale in spring 2011.

Fly Pad is based on Android platform. The one pictured here comes with Eclair (Android 2.1), however, its upcoming official version will more likely comes with Froyo (2.2), or maybe even Gingerbread (2.3). While inside, the tablet is powered by 600MHz Qualcomm MSM 7227 processor.

The France based company, Airis, has just outed their latest tablet PC, namely Airis Kira Slimpad. This tablet sports an 11.6-inch capacitive multi-touch TFT HD display with resolution of 1366×768 pixels, and running Windows 7 Home Premium operating system.

Airis Kira Slimpad measures 288×190×14 mm and weighs in at 850 grams. Inside, the tablet packs a 1.6GHz Intel Atom N450 processor, 1GB of installed DDR2 memory and Intel Graphics Media Accelerator GMA 500 integrated graphics. While for the storage, Airis use a 32GB solid state drive (SSD).

Words said that there is a good chance for us to see BenQ's first tablet, namely BenQ R100, in the first quarter of next year.

The BenQ R100, is said to comes with an Android 2.2 (Froyo) operating system and core powered with an ARM-based processor made by Samsung that runs at 833MHz. R100 tablet boasts a 10.1-inch LCD touchscreen with 1024×600 resolution, a touch resistive one.

Dell has just received certification from the Wi-Fi Alliance for a their device with model number M02M which described as both a mobile internet device and a smartphone.

Back then, the original Dell Streak came to shelves with model number M01M attached to it, and this yet unknown device is just one digit away from the Streak. And here we are, speculating; whether that would be a Streak 2, Opus One, the 7-inch Dell Looking Glass, or a completely different device..

Shortly after the Dell Streak tablet is said will be going to lands on South Korea via KT, today, the official announcement is outed. Or, to be exact, it already appeared in Dell Korea's website.

Currently, this KT's upcoming Dell Streak doesn't have an official price tag on it. Its specific availability date is yet unannounced as well. However, I suppose we can expect those details will be unveiled soon enough.

The unlocked version of Dell's 5-inch tablet, will be shipped in the US as soon as next month, as showcased in their official site. The better news is that the Carbon Black 16GB Dell Streak, is offered at $180 cheaper if purchased unlocked. This Android device, which sports a regular price tag of $579.99, will be going for only $399.99.

Rover Computers has just released their latest android-based tablet, namely RoverPad 3WT70, for sale on the Russian market.

This iPad knockoffs is an Android 2.1-running (Eclair) tablet, powered by 720 Mhz Telechips processor inside. The tablet sports a 7-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 800×480 pixels, 256Mb DDR installed RAM, 4 GB internal memory and a MicroSD-slot for storage expansion.

According to folks at mobile-review, Palm Company is planning to show their vision of the Tablet PC similar iPad at CES 2011, the webOS 2.5.1-running Palm Topaz. However, this is not officially confirmed yet. Palm will also show three models of their PalmPad, plus the fourth model, which is designed for students.

Apparently, Motorola has just got their marketing team upload a video teases on YouTube, "Tablet Evolution presented by Motorola".

This video is started with the (probably) world’s oldest tablet, Egyptian hierogliphic tablet, continuing until the latest Android-running Samsung Galaxy Tab. Plus, the last tablet as a mystery --which supposed to be revealed at CES 2011 if nothing goes wrong. Would it be the Motorola’s Android 3.0 Honeycomb powered tablet which had been so many times rumored lately? Who knows.. enjoy the video after break :)

Continuing their tradition on participating in the annual Millionaire Fair, Samsung unveiled the Luxury Edition of the Samsung Galaxy Tab at this year event which held in Amsterdam.

In terms of tech specs, the Samsung Galaxy Tab Luxury Edition has no differences compared to the original tablet other than it comes bundled with a leather case and a Bluetooth headset.
