Cousin of Windows Phone 7-running smartphone Dell Venue Pro, the Dell Venue, has just been officially introduced in Korea by KT.

Dell Venue is built with the same 1 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon QSD8250 processor as Venue Pro. It also features a 4.1-inch curved AMOLED capacitive touchscreen display with 480×800 pixels resolution and 16 million colors, covered with a Gorilla Glass. Compared to its cousin, Dell venue also share the similar layout of buttons and shape as well.

Despite of those similarity, unlike its cousin, Dell Venue does not come with a full QWERTY keyboard; and it is an Android based smartphone. It runs Android version 2.2 (Froyo) OS.

KT's official PR didn't reveal detailed specs of the Dell Venue other than its OS and display. However, this smartphone does reminds us of the once previewed as a prototype few months ago, the Dell Thunder. Back then, it came with Eclair (Android 2.1) instead of Froyo. Just in case they are the same smartphone, we can make a pre-conclusion that the Venue will at least comes with a rear-facing 8MPx autofocus camera with LED flash, Wi-Fi connectivity, micro-USB port, 3.5mm stereo audio jack and microSD slot.

Enough of guessing :) The Dell Venue will be available in the Korean market via KT by the end of this month, it will be going for a price of 700,000 KRW (approx. $607).

As an additional information, in their official statement KT did mention about two other Froyo-running mobile devices, Dell Streak and Pantech Vega Xpress, which both will also be available at the end of the month, sold at 800,000 KRW (approx. $693) and yet still unknown respectively... stay tuned for updates
