Nokia X3 Touch and Type Unveiled

The famous Finland phone maker, Nokia, today unveiled their latest touch handset Nokia X3 Touch and Type. As Nokia's first 'Touch and Type' phone, this handset allows users people to tap quickly directly from its touch screen, as well as enjoy the familiarity of the full keypad for a quick texting and phone calls.

The Nokia X3 Touch and Type which also known as Nokia X3-02 is a candybar phone with a traditional 12 button phone keypad. The handset measures 106.2 x 48.4 x 9.6 mm and weighs 77 grams. It sports a 2.40" resistive touchscreen TFT display with 240 x 320 pixels resolution and 256K colors.

The Nokia X3 also features dedicated music and messaging keys allowing fast access to important Ovi services including social and entertainment applications.

On the data networks, this quad band GSM/UMTS phone support EDGE, 10.2 Mbps HSDPA as well as 2.0Mbps HSUPA. Nokia X3 also offer a good range of connectivity option by including Bluetooth v2.1 technology, Wi-Fi, micro USB port and 3.5mm headset connector which allow users enjoying their music through X3's media player better, at ease.

The Nokia X3 Touch and Type comes with a 860 mAh Li-Ion battery. Its other notable features include a microSD card slot (16GB included, supports up to 32GB), and a 5MP main snapper with 18fps video capture capability, and FM radio.

This Nokia X3-02, which will come in five vibrant colors; White Silver, Dark Metal, Petrol Blue, Pink and Lilac, is expected to be on sale in the third quarter, priced for approximately EUR 125, excluding taxes and subsidies.
