HTC Desire Is Available From U.S. Cellular Today

As it was announced few weeks ago, today, U.S. Cellular began selling the HTC Desire in stores and online at their website.

U.S. Cellular, which is the first carrier to bring HTC Desire smartphone to customers in the United States, offering this android handset for $199.95 after $70 mail-in rebate with a 2-year contract.

BlackBerry Bold 9650 Smartphone Lands at U.S. Cellular

Just a few days after announcing their second android smartphone for this year, U.S. Cellular adds another handset into their smartphone portfolio just recent, the BlackBerry Bold 9650 smartphone.

The BlackBerry Bold 9650 can be used around the world; it supports high-speed EV-DO Rev. A networks in North America, as well as UMTS/HSPA (2100Mhz) and quad-band EDGE/GPRS/GSM networks abroad. This Bold, which will be shipped with BlackBerry 5 OS, is a BlackBerry 6 ready device.

HTC Desire Added Into U.S. Cellular Lineup

U.S. Cellular has just expand their android smartphone lineup with the addition of HTC Desire in their shelves. HTC Desire, which is the second of five Android-powered phones planned to be offered for their subscribers, will be launched in August 27.

As a quickie overview, HTC Desire is an Android 2.1 (Eclair) running smartphone, powered with the 1 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor which offers a true mobile computing experience. The allure of HTC Desire is apparent at first glance, with its slim, stylish design and vibrant 3.7-inch touchscreen that shows streaming video and graphics in vivid detail.
