Apparently, Motorola has just got their marketing team upload a video teases on YouTube, "Tablet Evolution presented by Motorola".

This video is started with the (probably) world’s oldest tablet, Egyptian hierogliphic tablet, continuing until the latest Android-running Samsung Galaxy Tab. Plus, the last tablet as a mystery --which supposed to be revealed at CES 2011 if nothing goes wrong. Would it be the Motorola’s Android 3.0 Honeycomb powered tablet which had been so many times rumored lately? Who knows.. enjoy the video after break :)

Motorola Milestone 2 is Official

The highly anticipated Milestone successor, is officially announced by Motorola today; the Motorola MILESTONE™ 2 smartphone.

Motorola Milestone 2 runs on GSM 850/900/1800/1900 2G networks MHz and supports HSDPA 1900/2100 3G networks. This Android 2.2 (Froyo) based handset, is built with 1 GHz processor at its core, allowing its Motoblur enhanced OS run smoothly. This smartphone also features 8GB of internal storage, expandable up to 40GB by utilizing its provided microSD card slot.

Starting at front, the Milestone 2 sports a large 3.7 inches TFT display with anti-reflective coating, performing at 480 x 854 pixels resolution.

Motorola Ming A1680 Smartphone

The third device exclusively launched in China today is Motorola Ming A1680. Pet named as Lucky, this smartphone will be offered by China Unicom.

Motorola A1680 is a classic clamshell device featuring touch capabilities. It sports 3.1-inch AMOLED display with 800×480 pixels resolution, enhanced with an intelligent handwriting recognition software and sixth-generation SoftStylus™ handwriting for a better navigation and input.

The Motorola A1680, which designed to supports China Unicom’s WCDMA network, runs on quad-band GSM 850/900/1800/1900 MHz and compatible with WCDMA 2100MHz. This smartphone offers GPRS Class 12, EDGE Class 10 and 3.6 HSDPA for data bearer.

Motorola Ming XT806 Smartphone

The second new Ming's handset introduced today by Motorola, XT806, is an Internet-connected powerhouse built on Android 2.1. This smartphone will be offered through China Telecom.

Motorola XT806 is a dual band compatible, works on both GSM and CDMA networks. This mobile phone runs on tri-band GSM 900/1800/1900 and dual band CDMA 800/1900 MHz, and at the 3G's it runs on CDMA2000 1xEV-DO.

Physically, this smartphone measures 109,9×57×18,6 mm and weighs 161 grams. X806 is built with the same core as Motorola MT810; 600 MHz TI OMAP3430 processor, same ROM at 512MB, yet, twice of RAM at 512MB to ensure that its Eclair OS will run smoothly. It also comes with a micro-SD slot that can be maxed using 32GB card.

The new Motorola MT810, which is being jointly launched with China Mobile, uses China Mobile’s OPhone OS 2.0™ implementation of Android.

The Motorola Ming MT810 is housed on a sleek case, measures 108,6×55,5×16,7 mm and weighs 120 grams. Inside, MT810 is built with TI OMAP3430 processor that deliver up to 600 MHz clock speed, 256 MB RAM and 512 MB Flash ROM with 128 MB space available for user. And a micro-SD slot is present, allowing users to get up to 32GB storage expansion.

The China-specifically designed Motorola MING line, got updated with the addition of three new Android based handsets; Motorola MT810 for China Mobile’s TD-SCDMA network, Motorola XT806 for China Telecom’s CDMA-2000 network, and Motorola A1680 for China Unicom’s WCDMA network.

Designed in China for Chinese people, these Ming handsets bring all the special features such as superb Chinese handwriting support and PDA functions that were useful and intuitive. All three of the new MING devices also offer a full touchscreen experience and sport an updated version of the MING flip design, including the signature transparent flip cover.

Motorola Droid 2 Unveiled

Motorola open the curtain of their Droid successor today, the Motorola DROID 2, an advanced Android based smartphone which built on Android 2.2. This new smartphone, will be available for pre-sale on August 11 at Verizon Wireless.com.

Comes in blocky module, the Motorola Droid 2 measures 4.58 x 2.38 x 0.54 inches and weighs 169 grams. This smartphone sports a large, full multi-touch 3.7-inch display at WVGA (480 x 854) resolution, and a QWERTY keyboard located under the display.

Inside, the Droid 2 features a 1 GHz OMAP 3600 series processor, 512 MB RAM, and has 8 GB of storage which some preserved for the installed Android 2.2 OS. This smartphone also comes with a microSD card slot that supports capacities up to 32 GB for a total cargo capacity of 40 GB.

Motorola i1 Android Smartphone With Nextel Direct Connect

Sprint officially announced the upcoming availability of Motorola i1 into their handsets line-up. This handset will be available first on Sunday, July 25, through direct ship sales channels for $149.99 with two-year service agreement --after a $50 mail-in rebate.

Categorized as a rugged handset, the Motorola i1 comes in a solid body construction that meets military specifications for protection against dust, shock, vibration and blowing rain. The handset measures 58 x 118 x 12.8 mm and weighs 131 grams.

Motorola i1 sports a large 3.1-inches HVGA (320x480 pixels) touchscreen display as well as 5 MP autofocus camera w/ LED flash.

Motorola Droid X Lands on Verizon Wireless Tomorrow

One of the most awaited android smartphone, the Motorola DROID X, will be available through Verizon Wireless' stores by tomorrow.

Motorola Droid X is an Android 2.1 powered smartphone. Housed in its sleek 127.5 x 65.5 x 9.9 mm measured black case, this handset is loaded with the 1 Ghz TI OMAP3630-1000 processor, paired with 512 MB integrated RAM. The phone itself has 8 gigabyte onboard memory, and comes with a 16GB memory card occupying its microSD slot --which can be maxed with an optional 32GB ones for up to 40GB of total storage.

Droid X sports a large, 4.30 inches TFT display. It's a capacitive touchscreen, with WVGA (480 x 854 pixels) resolution and true color (16M) support.

Today, Motorola unveils their latest MOTOBLUR powered devices, the new Motorola CHARM™, exclusively for T-Mobile USA.

Motorola Charm is an Android 2.1 powered smartphone, with Motoblur and Flash Lite browsing. This smartphone, which expected to be available this summer, provides users with an intuitive navigation from its 2.8 inch touch screen, full QWERTY keyboard as well as the BACKTRACK navigation pad located on the back.

There is an enhanced navigation features such as pinch to zoom functionality and two-finger swipe to easily surf the Web and sort through photos as well.
