The third device exclusively launched in China today is Motorola Ming A1680. Pet named as Lucky, this smartphone will be offered by China Unicom.
Motorola A1680 is a classic clamshell device featuring touch capabilities. It sports 3.1-inch AMOLED display with 800×480 pixels resolution, enhanced with an intelligent handwriting recognition software and sixth-generation SoftStylus™ handwriting for a better navigation and input.
The Motorola A1680, which designed to supports China Unicom’s WCDMA network, runs on quad-band GSM 850/900/1800/1900 MHz and compatible with WCDMA 2100MHz. This smartphone offers GPRS Class 12, EDGE Class 10 and 3.6 HSDPA for data bearer.
Inside its 106,9×54,5×16,8 mm sleek case, Motorola A1680 is powered with a 624 MHz Marvell PXA935 processor; paired with 256 MB RAM and 512 MB ROM. The installed operating system is Android OS version 1.6 (Donut) and the handset provides 128MB integrated storage, expandable via microSD slot for up to 32 gigs storage addition.
The A1680 also has a 5MP camera and GPS navigation services. It other features include WiFi capability, Bluetooth v2.0 with A2DP, Multimedia player w/ 3.5 mm sudio jack, FM radio, 5MP autofocus snapper w/ LED flash and of course, HTML browser.
