Google's popular world first Gingerbread running smartphone, Samsung Nexus S, is on the way for landing in their homeland, South Korea.

According to the Chosun Ilbo, this 1GHz ARM Cortex A8 1GHz processor powered smartphone is already in its final stages of testing and will be retailed through SK Telecom as soon as next month.

This Korean Google Nexus S are expected to be the same version as the global one, with an exception that as it outed by a specific carrier (SK Telecom), the smartphone will probably include some carrier-branded apps and softwares.

As a quickie refresher, here's Nexus S highlighted features:

    480×800 pixels resolution, 16M colors, multi-touch input support

At this moment, there's no information yet regarding this upcoming Nexus S release date at SK Telecom, nor price tag. Stay tuned.
