Continuing their tradition on participating in the annual Millionaire Fair, Samsung unveiled the Luxury Edition of the Samsung Galaxy Tab at this year event which held in Amsterdam.
In terms of tech specs, the Samsung Galaxy Tab Luxury Edition has no differences compared to the original tablet other than it comes bundled with a leather case and a Bluetooth headset.
As a quickie overview, Samsung Galaxy Tab is built with 1 GHz ARM Cortex A8 processor, PowerVR SGX540 graphics and 512 MB RAM. This Android 2.2-running tablet sports a 7.0" TFT capacitive touchscreen with 600×1024 pixels resolution, featuring Gorilla Glass display. Dual camera are present; a 3 MPx autofocus camera with LED flash at back and a 1.3 MPx front-facing camera for video call.
Galaxy Tab runs on quad band GSM networks and support 7.2 Mbps HSDPA. Its other notable features include an integrated Wi-Fi (802.11 b/g/n), Bluetooth 3.0 with A2DP, GPS with A-GPS support, proprietary USB 2.0, 16GB internal memory, microSD card slot, HTML browser and support for Adobe Flash 10.1. Its battery is 4000 mAh Li-Polymer, capable of providing up to 25.5 hours of talktime in 3G.
Samsung Galaxy Tab Luxury Edition tablet will be available for purchase from December 15, 2010 to January 31, 2011 for €749 (approx. $990).
