Samsung is introducing their latest handset in Korea just recent, the new Samsung SHW-A170K.
Samsung SHW-A170K, which is Samsung first NFC or Near Field Communication phone to be available in Korea, will be offered in two color schemes; Mirror Black and Ice White. Being NFC enabled phone, this phone will allow users to make payment via the “SHOW Touch” NFC services available such as in subways, bus, Taxis and convenience stores.
Talking about Samsung SHW-A170K specs, this phone physically measures 115×57.7×12.5 mm and weighs around 104 grams. This HSDPA capable phone sports a 3.2" touchscreen TFT color display with 240×400 pixel resolution, 3 Mpix fixed focus camera and a standard included 1080mAh battery that provides up to 480 hours of standby time or up to 650 minutes of taltime on GSM network usage.
Samsung SHW-A170K also features TouchWiz 2.0 UX user interface, T-DMB support, multimedia player supporting both audio and video formats, 3.5mm audio jack, built in games and 78MB internal memory expandable via the provided microSD slot with support for up to 16GB card. This handset also provide Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity.
No details yet on SHW-A170K's pricing nor availability; however we got unconfirmed information saying that this phone will be offered through KT (korean provider). Stay tuned :)
