It might be a good news for US-based Samsung Galaxy series smartphone owners. The company, via their official twitter account has just announced that they are working on a "simple and reliable upgrade" to get it's Galaxy S smartphones to Google's Android 2.2 Froyo operating system.

The reason behind US's Froyo late update is said caused by "complexity/unique functionality" of the handsets. Recently, Canadian has already got the Froyo for their Vibrant and Fascinate Galaxy S, followed by UK's Galaxy S owners in matter of days.

It maybe make sense as Samsung offers multiple Galaxy S smartphones in the U.S. including the T-Mobile Vibrant, the Verizon Fascinate, the AT&T Captivate, the Epic 4G from Sprint, as well as the US Cellular Mesmerize. So, all we have to do is patiently, waiting. Yup, it's boring. Next!
