Back then, this Froyo running Toshiba Folio 100 was unveiled last September. At its first impression: 10.1-inch multitouch WSVGA display, Nvidia Tegra 2 processor inside, 16 GB internal memory, microSD support, 1.3 megapixel camera, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth, 3G support and so on.. everything was quite alright.
However, as the time goes on, things just wont work as it was expected before. And due to high return rate from disappointed customers, some retailers even pulling out the Folio 100 from their shelves. And recently, this new firmware, version 2.2.5.0053 is outed, probably meant to help shore up the issues that the tablet suffered from. Hopefully it works just fine :)
In an instance, the upgrade include fixes to:
- Screen/soft-touch responsiveness
- Lag fixes
- Pinch-and-Zoom capability for web-browsing and others
- Improved viewability
- Smoother video/audio processing
Unfortunately, support for Android Market and Adobe's Flash Player 10.1 seem still being left behind...
