As we already knew, Huawei IDEOS X5 is built based on Android OS, Froyo (version 2.2). Beneath its sleek black housing, the phone is powered with a 800 Mhz Qualcomm MSM 7230 processor paired with 2GB or 4GB internal memory, plus, a microSD slot for storage expansion with support for up to 32GB card.
Huawei IDEOS X5 sports a 3.8-inch TFT capacitive touchscreen display with 800×480 pixels resolution and 16M colors, enhanced by the G-sensor for auto rotate, multi-touch support, and Swipe preloaded for the ease of texting. While at the other side, an integrated 5 Megapixel autofocus camera along with LED Flash is present, rounded up by supporting for HD video recording as well as HD video playback.

X5 also equipped with both Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connectivity are available for wireless convenience, a built in GPS, microUSB port and 3.5mm stereo audio jack.
Huawei IDEOS X5's battery is 1500 mAh rechargeable li-ion. Oddly, the company didn't say a thing related to its battery life in terms of talktime nor standby time in their IDEOS X5 specs sheet page. Yet, the feature page did mention something about the matter, that can deliver up to 50 hours of music...

As you may notice at above information/description/review, we do write several (two) "OR" related to the features options: at the internal storage and HSDPA speed. Huawei IDEOS X5 is available in 2 models, the Huawei U8800 IDEOS X5 and Huawei U8800H IDEOS X5. The last mentioned model is the one which have a better specs (4GB internal storage, 14MB HSDPA).
