Sony Ericsson Yendo, which was initially planned to be released by the end of this year, won't be shipped at least until February 2011.
Yendo is Sony Ericsson's first full touch Walkman series phone, featuring 2.6" TFT capacitive touchscreen display with 240×320 pixels resolution and supposed to come with a four corner UI. This 156 MHz processor powered entry-level handset packs a 2-megapixel camera, 5MB internal memory, a microSD slot with support up to 16GB card, Bluetooth 2.1 with A2DP, 3.5 mm audio jack, Stereo FM radio with RDS and microUSB 2.0.
Our source said that Sony Ericsson has Yendo postponed because the company is not satisfied with the software of the device. Free translation: "The user experience is our focus. We were not yet at the level we want". So, til next year then.. stay tuned for updates.
