RoverPad 3WT70 Android Tablet Released

Rover Computers has just released their latest android-based tablet, namely RoverPad 3WT70, for sale on the Russian market.

This iPad knockoffs is an Android 2.1-running (Eclair) tablet, powered by 720 Mhz Telechips processor inside. The tablet sports a 7-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 800×480 pixels, 256Mb DDR installed RAM, 4 GB internal memory and a MicroSD-slot for storage expansion.

This 7-inch tablet RoverPad 3WT70 comes is a metal housing, measures 195×120×14 mm and weigh in at 384 grams. In terms of tech specs, this tablet features a front-facing web-camera, accelerometer, Wi-Fi (802.11 b/g) connectivity, (2) microUSB ports, headphone jack and a tough, 2500 mAh rechargeable battery.

RoverPad 3WT70 is mostly aimed at Web surfing, working with documents and multimedia. It came with an HTML webkit and apps with support for:

• Audio formats: MP3, WMA, WAV, ADPCM
• Video formats: MPEG-4, H.264, WMV/VC-1, MPEG-2, MP4
• Image Formats: JPEG, GIF, PNG, BMP
• Text: fb2, epub, oeb, txt, html, pdf

Currently, RoverPad 3WT70 is already on sale in the Russian market. This tablet is available for purchase at a price of 8,990 rubles (about $297).
