In case you're looking for reliable GPS puck, maybe this newly announced SPOT's GPS accessories will hold you here several minutes. SPOT Connect is a GPS puck which utilize Bluetooth to connects with our daily smartphones wirelessly. The device weighs in at only 3.7 ounces, and is waterproof to an IPX7 standard.

By simply downloading the SPOT Connect app, SPOT Connect wirelessly synchs via Bluetooth with smartphone operating systems like Android. SPOT message features are then initiated using the SPOT Connect app on the smart device.

Unfortunately, our written texts "like Android" above isn't just an example as at this moment, the only OS supported by this GPS puck is Android. The good news is, the company also said that other OS compatibility is scheduled for release later this year.

As for its pricing, Spot Connect will go on sale this month for $169.99, plus a required annual subscription service starting at $99.99 per year.
