Recently, a picture of an advanced Sony Ericsson camera phone has just spotted on the website of the FCC, namely Sony Ericsson Cyber Shot S006.
Although it said that the Sony Ericsson Cyber Shot S006 is built with the 1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, this handset isn't a smartphone. Obviously, we can classify it as hi-end camera phone. The phone, which made for Japanese phone operator KDDI, comes with the new and improved matrix Exmor R, a built in 16.2-megapixels camera along with an integrated LED flash on the back.
Sony Ericsson Cyber Shot S006 is equipped with a 3.3-inch touch screen display, and it is encased in a waterproof housing. Its other known features include a standard set of wireless communications consisting Wi-Fi capability, Bluetooth connectivity and built in GPS.
There no information yet regarding its availability, pricing nor details of its tech specs. But it's almost certain that Japanese market will get this handset soon or later. Stay tuned for updates...
