The sleek RIM's clamshell smartphone, Blackberry Style 9670, has just being added into Bell's handset lineup.
BlackBerry Style 9670 runs on CDMA networks and features 1xEV-DO rev.A technology for hi-speed connectivity rated up to 3.1 Mbps. Just like most of BlackBerry smartphones, this Blackberry 6.0 OS-running Style 9670 offer RIM's full email and messaging suite including Push Email, Instant Messaging and Document editor (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and PDF).
This Blackberry Style measures 96 x 60 x 18.5 mm when it's closed, sporting an external display with 240×320 pixels resolution. A simple flip will reveal its main 360×400 pixels internal color display as well as the full QWERTY keyboard and optical trackpad. This smartphone height is 175.5 mm when it's opened.
BlackBerry Style 9670's other key features include a 5 MPx autofocus camera with LED flash, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 2.1 with A2DP support, 512 MB internal memory, microSD card slot with 8GB card included, media player with 3.5 mm audio jack and GPS with A-GPS support for Blackberry maps. Including its Li-Ion 1150 mAh battery, which rated by the manufacturer for up to 264 hours of standby time or up to 4.5 hours of talk time, this BlackBerry weighing at 131g.
Bell's Blackberry Style 9670 is only available in Steel Grey color scheme, and it is offered for as low as $49.95 with a 3-year contract. For consumers who wanna purchase the BlackBerry Style 9670 without signing any contract, Bell sold its unlocked version for $399.95.
In addition, Bell also has an additional promotion that offers its GPS Navigator service for only $50 with unlimited access for lifetime.
