Fly's latest multimedia phone has been launched in Russia, Fly E171 Wi-Fi. Comes in candybar design, this phone encased in a compact 111×54×12.8 mm black body with metallic mount lines.
Fly E171 Wi-Fi sports 3.2" inches TFT touchscreen display with WQVGA (240×400 pixels) resolution and a 3.2MPx main camera with video capture capability. It runs on tri-band GSM 900/1800/1900Mhz with support for GRPS and EDGE. And as usual, it comes with support for dual SIM mode.
Built as a multimedia phone, Fly E171 Wi-Fi is equipped with JAVA support, multimedia player, FM radio and a web browser. Bluetooth 2.0 and Wi-Fi 802.11 class a/b/g are available as connectivity options. This 95 grams phone is powered with a 1000mAh Li-Ion battery which should provide up to 5 hours of talktime (w/o Wi-Fi) or up to 120 hours of standby time.
Excluding its SIM cards memory, Fly E171 Wi-Fi's phone book can hold up to 1000 entries. This handset also provides a microSD slot with support for up to 16GB memory card. It other features include Photoeditor, Dictophone, E-book reader, organizer and reminder, tasks, currency converter, calendar, alarm clock and calculator.
In addition, Fly E171 Wi-Fi is equipped with Emergency SOS Dialling button. This handset will be available in Russia, starting in the end of November 2010, with a price tag of 5490 rubles (approx. $178). As an extra, a silicone case which can be used to protect phone from scratches is included in Fly E171 Wi-Fi's box contents.
