Both of these new 3G capable BlackBerry handset comes preloaded with social networking apps such as Facebook and BBM; and BlackBerry App World which connected to AT&T customers’ bill to simplify its payment options.
Both new smartphones feature Wi-Fi® connectivity, and qualifying AT&T customers receive access to the entire AT&T national Wi-Fi network included as part of their data plan.
Globally launched last month, the AT&T’s first 3G BlackBerry Curve smartphone, BlackBerry Curve 9300 3G is equipped with 2.46" TFT color display, 2MPx fixed focus camera, full QWERTY keyboard and optical trackpad. This smartphone which shipped with BlackBerry 5 OS is a BlackBerry 6 ready smartphone. Comes in Black with chrome accent, Curve 3G is HSDPA capable phone which offer a good range connectivity options include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 2.1 + EDR, microUSB and 3.5 mm audio jack. Its other notable features are built-in GPS, microSD/SDHC slot and web browser.
AT&T will also make the popular AT&T U-verse Mobile app available for AT&T U-verse TV customers who also have the BlackBerry Curve 9300.
The second AT&T’s new BalckBerry handset, Pearl 3G is the smallest BlackBerry smartphone yet and is as powerful as it is compact. This handset sports a 2.25" TFT color display with 360×400 pixels resolution, 3.2 MPx auto focus camera with LED flash and an optical trackpad for smooth navigation. BlackBerry Pearl 9100 3G also packed a support for high-speed 3G networks (3.6 Mbps HSDPA), Wi-Fi, built in GPS, Bluetooth 2.1 with A2DP and microUSB. It have 256 MB internal memory and provides a microSD slot with support for up to 32 GB card. This BlackBerry 5 OS based smartphone will be available in a red gradient.
The new AT&T’s BlackBerry Curve 9300 3G and BlackBerry Pearl 9100 3G smartphone will be going for a price of $99.99 and $149.99 respectively, both requires a 2-years contract agreement. AT&T has two monthly data plan options, $15 for 200 MB of wireless data or $25 for 2 GB.
